We're back from a slightly underwhelming break in Cornwall!

It was very wet, but we did manage to get out and about regardless, and the seaside is always good for the soul.  Today was better weather but the kids are still not 100% so we came back earlier than we normally would.  We did still manage a final beach visit on the way home though.

We had loads of problems with our caravan which is saying a lot as we have very low expectations on a cheap break!

At one point, there were two staff members trying to break into the caravan as the lock had broken.  I commented on how they were more secure than I expected as it was taking so long to get in, and they said they can normally get into them in around 30 seconds, so it wasn't normal.😆

I will probably submit a complaint, but won't expect anything as we didn't report most of it while we were there as we didn't want to waste our only full day there waiting for people to deal with stuff, or waiting to change caravans.  We arrived as reception was closing on Friday so couldn't report it then, and on Saturday we'd gone out before they were open again.  We did come back while they were open because we knew the lock was iffy and didn't want to risk not being able to get back in (which we couldn't so it was a good job we did!).  There is also a long list of stuff not working right or at all, so it was quite disappointing overall.  But it was still nice to get away for a bit.

Hi jwil, welcome home. Definitely have a good complain and list everything, including why you couldn’t complain at the time. They should offer you some money back, or some kind of compensation, if they don’t want the bad publicity.

I agree with WinterWarrior. Complain you never know what might come of it.

Glad you’re feeling human again. When you’re not well you forget how it feels to feel normal.

    Definitely complain about the caravan.

Thank you everyone, I'll try and do the complaint later while it's all still fresh in my mind!
