Thank you, it does seem to be going on a bit! Hopefully we're coming out of it all now.teapot2 said:Glad little jwil is ok after his fall - you are all having a bit of a time of it health wise. Hope the poorlies feel better soon and the coughs subside.
Yes, it's very kind of them! 'Touch wood' we've only ever been a couple of times with little jwil and not at all with little miss. Long may that last!Sun_Addict said:Sorry to hear you succumbed to the lurgy generously shared with you by the family. How sweet of little miss looking after you.Glad little jwil is ok. Oh the times I was in and out of A&E with mine when they were little 😞WinterWarrior said:Oh my goodness, poor little jwil. If it’s not one thing it’s another! I hope you all feel better soon.
Thank you, it has felt neverending!

Finally, I had some sleep last night! Still loads of coughing, but it was a handful of coughing fits rather than continuous, so I got a good hour or two between coughing fits. Although I'm still tired, I don't have the brain fog I've been wandering around with for a few weeks.
Fingers crossed this is it turning the corner now!
I've put our bedding in the wash this morning, packed two ebay parcels, and upped my AVC contributions by £25 in anticipation of my NI 'wealth'. I've got all the new annual bills now, but haven't looked at them to see how they change. It looks like council tax is up by around £30 a month alone, so that really wipes out the NI gain 🙄 Water I expect is up around £10 a month, and not sure about internet etc yet. School have put up breakfast/afterschool club prices, and school meal prices too, so I need to do a new budget. It will be nice to see energy prices fall a little though.
Better crack on, I've got loads to do today."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee7 -
Frustrating to see gains wiped out so easily - however better in our pockets.
Glad you have the beach to look forward to at the weekend.

The increases are annoying, especially the school as you would think they’d know how their prices can impact on the parents budgets and the children’s well-being. It just feels like as soon as something goes up everything else follows 😖

Just waving hello and wishing you well soon.
I'm just reading back. I've missed so much!
the weather holds for the beach. Although I'm weird and love the beach in 'bad' weather too
