Ha ha to mystery meat - I took a half gammon joint out of the freezer not knowing what it was until I unwrapped it. It was yummy and will do another meal plus lunch. DH and I agreed that it actually tasted nicer than at Christmas.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Mystery things from the freezer are always fun.  I hope you enjoyed the burgers. Enjoy your day off and try not to do too much.

I'm trying to clear the freezers, so I'm sure we'll have some more surprises to come!  I fancy some gammon now actually :D

Thank you :)  We didn't have any bread rolls, so DH had his with chips and I had mine with salad and pickles.  Worked out quite well!

    Happy Friday!

Popping out to see family this morning, then just need to tidy round a bit today.

I've already done the bathroom when I got up as the cat had missed the litter tray and peed all over the floor!

I got a response to my complaint about the mortgage yesterday and they've not upheld it, but they equally haven't addressed what the complaint was about!  I was debating taking it further, but I might just leave it.  In the grand scheme of things it's not a lot, it's just annoying.  I can gain more by paying off the mortgage early and reducing the interest I have to give them! Keep the money in my pocket, not theirs!

No PB wins for me this month.  Maybe I'll get some luck next month!

    Have a good day everyone!

Happy Friday, have a great day.
    Thank you both :)

I haven't done much today.  I was out most of the morning, and then mostly sat this afternoon.  My knee is so painful today, it's been getting worse throughout the day.  I don't know why, I walked this morning without any real issue.  Hopefully it will ease off overnight.

I've carried on with the freezer and cupboard decluttering today, using up frozen bread rolls at lunch time, and chicken breasts, chorizo sausage and a spanish chicken jar sauce this evening.  I had pearl barley with mine instead of rice as I have loads of portions of that in the freezer.
