I am sorry your dh is stranded in hospital. I hope you have him safe at home very soon. I know what you mean about public transport. It is not fit for purpose and certainly doesn't encourage people to leave their cars at home.
  • Hope he's feeling better and home soon. And good luck and deep breaths with the driving. I know someone whose partner went into hospital long term and in the end they booked driving lessons to practice driving the route despite having had a licence for years. Not saying you need to do that just that I know driving can be a huge source of anxiety, sending lots of good vibes xx

I wouldn't worry about not visiting. I was in hospital when visiting was banned due to covid and it was so peaceful. I could just lie there and be poorly then afterwards concentrate on getting better without having to be polite or cheerful for visitors. It's far more useful to keep your energy for looking after Mr jwil when he comes home.

So sorry about your DH being in hospital. Was it a workplace accident? If so, I'd be phoning the employer and stating that you need them to resolve your visiting difficulties. It's the least they could do!!
