Off the top of my head the Nationwide account covers you not the vehicle. I used it when I was with my Dad and he broke down. It was really simple. Also we like the travel insurance and (not that we've used it) the mobile phone insurance. So that would be £156 a year.2

Moths 😱 Can’t stand the flapping 😱We’ve had some unusual little ones with bright pink wings attached to our front door but couldn’t be doing with the big ones. There was a really funny FB post from a local group where teenage lads had been running away from tiger hawk moths - not so brave lads eh 🤣
Yes, the flapping is horrible! I'd seen the one moth on the patio doors, it was white with a brown edge. Then at night, i went into the bathroom, and with the light on, there was one flapping around the bathroom, and several against the window outside, it was weird!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Thank you, I'll look into it. We don't use travel insurance or mobile phone insurance so don't need those.remote_control said:Off the top of my head the Nationwide account covers you not the vehicle. I'm not a fan of moths. They scare me in a way butterflies don't - shows our bias towards pretty colours perhaps - or it could be that the body of a moth is thicker somehow. I also don't like damage to my textiles. I recognise the environment needs them though so still try to let them be even if I encourage them outside.
You are doing well on your PADs this year.
It looks like our backpay is going to be delayed again this year. Frustrating.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I'm similar, they do seem a bit more flappy somehow!savingholmes said:I'm not a fan of moths. Perhaps it's because we are more likely to see them at night when they are attracted to the lights. It was a bit bizarre having one flapping around the light, and several sat on the window! I read that it's only actually one or two types that eat textiles, so maybe we are subconsciously giving them a bad rep. DH dug out our box hedge yesterday so that's gone now. It's a shame as it's been there for well before we moved here and never had a problem before. I reported it to RHS as they have a survey for where Box Tree moths have been spotted.
Thank you on the PADs, I'm very pleased about them.
It's so frustrating about the backpay. I wish they'd get talking earlier. I'm hoping to add most of my payrise to AVCs this year so I'm keen to know what it is!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I think the concern about moths ove butterflies is we usually see moths flying around lights inside whereas butterflies are normally outside so although we see them they are not in close proximity for long.
