Every day I despise this government even more. Last night's speech by Rishi was so full of lies and misinformation, it sounded like it came from the Daily Mail. I don't know why I'm even shocked any more.
It's not even about the politics, it's just the blatant nonsense they spout and the whole culture wars rubbish trying to stir up divisions in the country rather than resolving them."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Well said @jwil !
On a different matter, great PADs again
I think the powers that be should commission you to do an article on PADs.

I'm very glad that the media are pointing out all of the cancelled policies that were never even policies in the first place!
I'm not a writer, I'd prefer to stay in the dark! I think it was Emzilla that started the concept. I'm very pleased with them though, and it's really nice to be able to be able to PAD extra survey money rather than having to use it for day to day living."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". It's been a busy week this week. I'm still not sleeping or feeling great, it's very annoying. Hopefully it will improve as things settle a bit.
Little jwil is on his residential this week, we're getting lots of photos from the school, so hopefully he's enjoying himself. They've been doing stuff that is very much out of his comfort zone so it will be interesting to see if he's taken part and had a go. I hope so.
I had the meeting with the Senco yesterday with little miss, and we went through the form together and popped it in the post. I need time to think through everything that was said and process it. I had to nip out from work and get straight back to it, so not had time to look through what she gave me.
Little miss got her first Brownie badge this week, she's very pleased with herself - as am I! It was the baking badge.
On to the next one now!
I wanted to touch up some of the gloss in little jwil's room while he was away, and so I took my lunch break at 9am this morning so that I could go and do that
It gives it time to dry and the room to air before he comes back (and doing it in the morning rather than at lunchtime meant that the door and door frame were mostly dry before little miss came home from school).
Tomorrow I might make a start on the landing, but will see how I feel and if I get a better night's sleep tonight.
I've got my flu jab on Sunday, so must remember to go! The kids had theirs this week as well.
We've had our breakdown cover renewal which has come in at nearly £300!! That is shocking, and I'm sure we paid around half that last year. So I need to have a look at that and either haggle hard or switch. I think they added stuff we didn't need as a freebie last year so that can be removed to start with."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
