Glad that you now understand about the ASD more. Hopefully that will help you ensure little Miss gets the help she needs.jwil said:The kids wanted to go to a trampoline park today, so we went there this morning. They had fun.
Today, something little miss said as an off hand comment in a chat with little jwil, combined with a book I borrowed from the library on ASD means I finally 'get it'. It feels like such a relief, and I felt a bit emotional. This book had a decent chapter on the social side of things, and explains it really well with examples. It was a real LBM for me. It's a really interesting read anyway, but I was still thinking I didn't recognise anything until I got to that chapter. I'm going to buy a copy I think. I feel like I've got more of the full picture now.
I had a text from my GP asking me to book a flu jab so I've done that. I'm going to go and do another blood pressure test at the library, and I must book my blood test as well, and then if need be I can get an appointment to discuss them all if my blood pressure is still high.
Not much planned for the weekend at the moment. Little miss found a flea today 😱, so probably an awful lot of cleaning. I haven't stopped itching since she found it
The cat and dog are both treated regularly, so hopefully we can get on top of it quickly. I've already sprayed the house and will be hoovering daily. It's a good excuse to yell at everyone (including DH) about the stuff stacked on the floor
Well done on booking the flue jab.
I feel you on the fleas. I found some on my cat this weekend so bought a flea comb - and have ordered about £30 of stuff so I can more permanently kill the fleas and stop them returning and spray the house! Hope your DH will get rid of more stuff for you.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I've also ordered loads of flea stuff, and new treatment for the cat, because despite her being treated last week, I found a flea on her, so assume she is the issue.
DH hasn't cleared away anything but did remove it all and hoover under it as well as moving all the furniture too, so I'd better give him a little credit

I'm struggling with my mood at the moment, everything seems to be getting on top of me. I'm dreading going back to work tomorrow, even though I'm only doing 2 days this week.
The washing machine has died, so after spending yesterday with Dr Google trying different things, I've bit the bullet and ordered a new one.
I went to the library at the weekend to use their machine, and despite all my efforts on diet and exercise my weight had increased, and my blood pressure was higher. The blood pressure was probably as a result of the machine though as it didn't seem to be working properly. I've borrowed one of the blood pressure machines they loan out and my blood pressure is lower than there, but still a bit high, but that's probably as the cuff is too small. So I've ordered one of my own with a larger cuff so I can monitor it myself. (Not at all a theme of trying to avoid a Dr visit here
).
There's a new SW class opening up near me, and that might be an option. The problem is that it clashes with when I am out with little miss for her swimming lessons. I might just be able to get home in time, but need to understand the timings a bit more. I think I need the group support, so I'll think about that one.
I've spent so much this month, it's very unsettling. There was the trip to Scotland as well as all the other activities we've done, school uniforms etc, quite a bit of frittering which wasn't entirely needed, the flea stuff which seems to be costing a lot, and now the washing machine as well. I just want to have a quiet couple of months so that I can feel like I'm adding to pots rather than emptying them. We've got stuff coming up over the next few months, so it won't be spend free, but I'll have to try and be frugal.

Ah, that does help a lot thank you! It's advertised for 6, so that means I would have enough time to get home and get down there. Little miss has her lesson 5-5.30 and then we have to get her changed and get back across town as well, and then I'd be able to walk to the venue.beanielou said:So for SW the timing go like this :- For a class advertised as 7.00 say it's weigh between 7.00 & 7.30 & then class starts at 7. 30 fror image therapy. I’m also unsettled by my spending this month, I totally understand. Even though it’s much needed work and not debt, it’s hard to part with it now. It’s difficultNot all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
