Thank youEssexHebridean said:Well done on respecting your own boundaries and being firm about them - sometimes saying no is the only viable option!
I always try and help where I can, but I've got too much time off to get my own work done
It did however, mean that I could do everything that needed to be done urgently, and also manage to finish at a reasonable time today without having a stress about getting everything done. So glad I have finished now. I feel a bit drained and something has triggered my anxiety which has been lurking for a few days. Hopefully it will ease with a bit of time off.
I've got a craving for visiting a beach, so that will feature somewhere in next week's plans, but other than that I'm not sure what we'll get up to. It's always my go to place when feeling stressed and I'm listening to the Salt Path again to inspire my walking, so that's got me yearning for the seaside as well.
Today I received my amazon gift card for opening the Kroo account, so that's good, and I've also cashed out on PA so got another good PAD for tomorrow."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". That's you finished so time to wind down

It does, doesn't it. It's nice that I can picture nearly all of the locations as well, (and of course, some aren't too far away from here).savingholmes said:I loved that book - but yes she makes you yearn for the outdoors and especially the coast. Morning everyone
First day off. I've skipped my walk this morning, partly as I felt like staying in bed for a bit, and also because I plan on having a fairly active day today with housework. The house feels messy and grubby so I plan on having a good clean and tidy. If I can get that done today, then the rest of the week will be much more relaxed.
I've checked and caught up on surveys and withdrawn again from PA so will PAD that tomorrow. I've also packed two ebay parcels for DH, though only one has paid so far.
Swimming for little miss later as well.
Have a good day everyone
