Back to work today, but only today and tomorrow. I've done my walk this morning so all good there.
More moneyspending as I needed to get little miss's brownie uniform so she can do her promise next term. Also some new period pants for me. Trying a new brand this time as although I like my current ones, the gusset doesn't seem to last very long relatively speaking
Have a good day everyone

Your pads are fantastic.Have you tried Vinted for a brownie uniform.I hated spending money on things like that that were worn for such a short time.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I didn't think about it to be honest!beanielou said:Your pads are fantastic.Have you tried Vinted for a brownie uniform.I hated spending money on things like that that were worn for such a short time.
I've ordered it now. I don't mind buying new once, and I'll probably sell it on or donate it once we've used it. If we need any replacements I'll definitely go pre-loved.EssexHebridean said:The local Brownie pack may also be able to help with sourcing pre-loved uniforms perhaps?
People book as soon as they leave the previous session, so it's always full immediately with a waitlist. It was ok when I managed to get in before as I could do the same, it's just hoping that a space becomes available that I'm lucky enough to grab.savingholmes said:Well done on the swimming. . There's obviously a demand. When I was late teens, I used to do deep water aqua aerobics, that was great as you couldn't touch the floor the whole time. They don't do that one any more. Last day at work today
I've got loads to do though. I was very good yesterday and said 'no' to several people who wanted stuff from me. I have other deadlines I need to meet instead. It did feel a bit like being pulled in several directions though. I also had an issue with little miss which resulted in a trip to the pharmacy for advice and then the GP for some antibiotics. I'm very fortunate in that I can have the flexibility to deal with these things, but it meant a late finish last night to make up the hours.
I have done my walk this morning so I'm pleased about that."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee7 -
