The enamel baths seemed quite reasonable when I was looking last week, but in the end I went for one called premiercast which is stronger ( than ordinary plastic) and retains heat. I was just replacing the bath, so with a front and end panel, the drain/overflow bit and the taps came to just over £500. I really think the tiling added on the most price when we redid the whole room several years ago.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I'm very glad this week is over. Work has been busy as I was asked to help another department. Something I've been working on for over 5 years is looking shaky now, so it seems like a huge wasted effort. Hopefully the Govt will see sense. It's so frustrating as it would have been a huge game changer in my industry.
I'm hoping for a quiet day tomorrow as the weather is looking good again! I quite fancy a day chilling in the sun around doing other things. Little miss will have swimming in the afternoon.
Not sure what the plans are for the weekend. Little jwil's year has some artwork displayed in the library, so we might go and see if anything of his is there. It would be nice to go and look at bathrooms, but I might need a chance for the idea to settle in DH's mind firstWe were talking about going to see Elemental at the cinema with the kids, but I think I'd prefer to keep that for the summer holidays if we can.
I want to try and tackle some frogs too - it would be good to not have those hanging over my head during the summer holidays."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -

Our whole room is tiled at the moment, DH would prefer to part tile it so that might save some money depending on plastering the walls.

Bathroom ideas sound exciting..I'm afraid I'm just gonna be really rude though and pinch your thread to ask beanielou what wet wall is.
We have a dodgy bathroom and when the lottery win comes in I'd like to replace it and have the wall panels not tiles. I may be sneaking a few ideas from your thread xxJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Today looks like it's going to be a glorious day, so I've got all the bedding in as it looks like it's going to be showery after today. At least I can get it done and dried quickly today.
I need to do a general tidy round, and I've got some herbs I want to put in a couple of planters. Little miss brought a sunflower home from school so I need to plant that as well, though that could probably be done at the weekend if she wants to help.
Patio badly needs weeding and I need to make sure I at least water the new plants.
I've got endless stuff I need to do in the house, but today I will enjoy the sun, and have a book I want to finish as well so I can declutter it
Before school ends, I want to go through my clothes, and little jwil's clothes, and the airing cupboard, so I can take any unwanted items to the clothing bank at school. I've got a few bits of unwanted uniform I'll take in today, and there is a second hand uniform sale later on so I might see if I can pick anything up for next year."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I wonder if wet wall is the same as the BnQ splashwall I used. Mine is plain colours though not like the multi colours & patterns they seem to sell now.
