We have a dodgy bathroom and when the lottery win comes in I'd like to replace it and have the wall panels not tiles. I may be sneaking a few ideas from your thread xx

Another vote for avacado bathroom suite in our first house, rented so not too bad, brown in my student rental (horrid) and grey and mauve at relatives growing up. The mauve was quite nice tbh.
And first bought house had polystyrene ceiling tiles in every room. Fire hazard city and a pain to get off!Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

I don't ever go in there, but good idea! I'm sure there are other bags of rags in there too.beanielou said:Whispers.
I would sneak the bag out of the garage."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
The Lego stays in this house. That I don't mind, apart from the bulk that DH buys to get bits with the intention of clearing the rest but that never happens.badmemory said:One of these days I WILL address the lego in the loft. DS is only in his 40s. Whoops!

I've always had vague plans to retire early, but this is the first time I've realistically worked out a plan to do so. Now it's just seeing if it's achievable. But at least counting down from the big figure will keep me focussed and show me how close I am to achieving it.

I used to work with a bloke who had a retirement countdown on his computer so every day he logged on it told him how many days he had left. He reckoned he’d been counting down since he started work after uni 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
