I also used to get tonsilitis on a very regular basis, but it was before antibios.  Be careful it does not move into an ear infection.
Thank you, good thinking.  They don't give antibiotics for it any more unless it's not clearing up.  If she's not on the mend by tomorrow I'll probably call the GP

Can’t believe how much the mortgage is going down each month 😀
It surprised me too, it's nice to see :) The PADs are obviously helping.

I know.  She's not a big fan normally though so it's not totally unusual.  Refusing chocolate is though!

Poor little mite. I remember how horrible it was and still get a lot of sore thoats. I think if she is no better tomorrow it will be worth seeking medical advice.

Thank you.  That was my plan but she was up at 4.45am this morning complaining she was hungry so I think she's starting to turn a corner now thankfully! I'll see how she is today, and decide on whether to keep her home an extra day tomorrow.  Her tonsils have definitely gone down a lot, I can hear it in her voice.  They are still red and spotty but she says they don't hurt any more.

    Good numbers.
Do all of your PADs go to the mortgage overpayment?
Just shows what can be done.

Thank you :)  Yes, they all go to the mortgage at the moment.  I like to do that as I can see the numbers come down and I can't touch it.  At some point, I might start sending them to a savings account instead and then have a lump sum to pay off at the end, but not yet.  I think I'd like to see the mortgage in the £70ks first.

It's funny, if someone said to me I should overpay the mortgage by £100 a month, I'd say I couldn't afford it.  It just shows how much trickling out small amounts each day, and sending over any extras from surveys adds up.

I'm doing some listing for DH at the moment.

I've also prepped and packed some birthday parcels.  I was patting myself on the back because I've managed to use up all my old style stamps before the deadline, when it suddenly occurred to me that I always kept a couple of books in my purse.  So I checked and yes, they were still there.  I won't use them, so I've done another stamp swap out form for them and will get it in the post so they can be replaced.

So do check if you've got any old style stamps anywhere as they can't be used after the end of this month.
