Thanks chums finally got 'sprung' around 3.30 this afternoon and mildest picked me up.
Am home now, and feel like I've been hit by a truck, but have some strong painkillers which will help. The op was done laparoscopically, which is apparently a quicker healing process , and the surgeon said the stone almost completely filled my gall bladder so it took a little longer to get it out hence the bad bruising , I have quite a bit of bruising on my tummy at the moment but it will get better over the next few days, just no galloping around doing too much. thats definitely not happening.
I am feeling very sore and uncomfortable, and move an awful lot slower than is usual for me, but I will be sensible and look after myself. Don't feel much like eating t the moment but the nurse said it will improve as the tummy starts to heal.
