Good news indeed Jackie, fingers crossed the Doc releases you sooner rather than later. You'll be much more comfortable at home and I know your family will rally round if/when you need help. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.7

Thanks chums finally got 'sprung' around 3.30 this afternoon and mildest picked me up.
Am home now, and feel like I've been hit by a truck, but have some strong painkillers which will help. The op was done laparoscopically, which is apparently a quicker healing process , and the surgeon said the stone almost completely filled my gall bladder so it took a little longer to get it out hence the bad bruising , I have quite a bit of bruising on my tummy at the moment but it will get better over the next few days, just no galloping around doing too much.thats definitely not happening.
I am feeling very sore and uncomfortable, and move an awful lot slower than is usual for me, but I will be sensible and look after myself. Don't feel much like eating t the moment but the nurse said it will improve as the tummy starts to heal.
That you all so much for the support and good wishes you are smashing folk and I do appreciate it
Take care chums ,'Dora -the Drain' is gone at last after 7 months
