A no-spend day today, though admittedly this is because I forgot to pay the wheelie-bin cleaner.
Useful stuff achieved:
*Laundry sorted, minor ironing & the last couple of things added to my summer clothes bag ready for packing away.
*Emptied out big pots on front courtyard & replanted with bulbs, violas, pansies, cyclamen & some bits I grew on from last year to keep the cost down. Potted up the geraniums for overwintering indoors.
*Finished practice dress mark 2 - just the body part as that's what needed altering to fit. Will aim to cut it out in the actual fabric at some point in the next week.
*Made dough for pizza & a batch of rolls.
*Resurrected my purple knitting.
*Garden pickings: Couple of courgettes, basil, lettuce.
*Confirmed meal choices from October's master plan & wrote grocery shopping list.
*Did 4 surveys.
Looking forward to watching GBBO & knitting purple loveliness.

2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!6
