Resourcefulness: The budgeter's friend

Morning Campers! Mr F has just left for work, Soot has arranged himself on his windowsill blanket & Ash is flat-out on the sofa having clearly pulled another all-nighter. I'm thinking about what I'd like to achieve this week & more particularly, planning the shape of today.
Apart from posting a small parcel, there won't be any money spent. From a budget-friendly point of view, I need to do my Monday morning budget updates, make use of a decent free drying day by pegging out a laundry load (already churning), bake a batch of bread rolls & bottle some more tomatoes. I think today's garden pickings will be a few more pears, a courgette & a pepper. I would like to hoe a border if I have time, to prep it for some new plantings as I have lots of lovely freebies to go in. I also intend to make a batch of chicken soup then freeze the rest of the stock I made yesterday.
Also intend to progress both of my current knitting projects for the presents bag.
Ok, am off to fortify myself with some muesli & coffee.
Wishing everyone a strong week. Wouldn't it be good if we all felt we'd knocked a really decent number of jobs on the head by the end of this week? Let's go for it!

It's good to experiment. I tend to follow the recipe once, then all bets are off!
