@foxgloves - have you thought of traditional washi tape for Xmas gifting? I was given several roles and they are bamboo fibre which is bio-degradable - just beware of the modern ones which are plastic and/or contain foil and glitter.

Yes, thanks! I had some or something v similar last year but am thinking natural jute string as I have oodles of it wouldn't involve buying anything. F x

Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!1 -
I use either natural coloured raffia or jute string for gift wrapping. Both look very rustic, 'my' kind of look in more ways than one!
