Thanks all, Definitely a happier house here this evening. Decided that the diet can withstand a glass of wine, even if I shall need to drink it by 8pm to comply with TRE rules. A kind neighbour has just popped a bag of treats through the door with Soot's name on. They'll enjoy those. Nice afternoon reading my book...not as peaceful as it could have been, as Mr F busy shooting aliens.

So pleased to hear this
we had a cat go missing for 2 weeks once and it was horrible 🥲
the cat we still have got shut in our own garage for a weekend once 🤷♀️ it was common in summer to not see him much and as had 3 cats we didn’t know who was or wasn’t coming and going and eating the food 😂4 -
Brilliant news. Our black boy is so lacking in brain power that we lost him for 2 whole days…inside the house! Mine are all house cats, but after desperately searching we thought he must have got outside and I wandered the gardens and busy road sobbing and shouting for him. Finally we saw his paw reaching through the gap under the recliner in the couch! He’d been trapped underneath for 2 whole days and not once thought to cry for help! He was desperately hungry and bemused. When we lifted the foot rest (electric recliner so no big jump) he had to be coaxed out, like he thought he’d been shut in on purpose 😢Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Oh I am SO very glad you found your cat. It's awful when they go missing 😕 My sister's cat disappeared for several days - eventually turned up in someone's garage just before they were about to go away for a fortnight 😱 And one of our chickens vanished about a year ago - we never found her or figured out what happened, it's awful when you're looking and can't find them 😕
I was going to comment on something you said a couple of days ago but I've forgotten it now in all the cat stress! Will go and hunt it out...4 -
Ooh, I remember - shopping in your at home boutique! Love this idea 😊 I lost a stone last year but have stagnated since then, and am still about 2.5 stone over where I'd like to be 🙄 I've got so many lovely clothes that I can't fit in. Some are closer than others - half a stone off would get me comfortably into a couple of dresses, a whole stone into another couple... But do I lose any? No. And my lovely dresses taunt me from the rail 🙄
Love the idea of lining them up in the order I think they'll start to fit again and having a trying on session maybe at the end of each month... 😁8
