Thanks for the pot allocation update 😂 Wise choices, enjoy your coffee shop outing. Nearly the weekend once it's tomorrow!
Is this blockage connected to the, I think, hallway leak you mentioned a while ago?4 -
That happened to my local lady. This one is 10 miles away, but I try & combine the trip with a visit to my friend, the massage therapist.themadvix said:
£50 is my standard spend in my refill shop - every month MAB. I’m sure they appreciated it - my refill shop (the second one I’ve frequented) has just gone out of business 😕)Makingabobor2 said:Can't believe how many herbs & spices you have. I started growing them last year, but only managed small amounts of basil & rosemary. Hope to do more this year. Like you, I get the rest from refill shop. Hadn't been for a while since breaking my wrist, then having covid, so finally got up there last week & spent £50! What a lovely well organised pantry and so impressed with that writing on the jars. I succumbed to a label maker as I cannot write as neatly as that. I love our zero waste shop for topping up spices. So much cheaper than supermarkets.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. It’s frustrating when water manages to find a way in. We have a couple of damp stains on the East side, which might be to do with the lintels but no visible water coming in. We have had it in the past though and it required a roof repair and now the ongoing gutter maintenance. We also have an awkward corner where blockages can occur, from our neighbour’s tree debris. I had never thought about the bird droppings containing seeds plus fertiliser before! It explains all the brambles I find growing around the garden, especially where the blackbirds root about under the shrubs. The pantry looks lovely and very well organised. Much better than keeping them in a drawer as I have to do. If we ever get to redo the kitchen there will definitely be a pantry.4

Every time I see Dilly Carter in someone's kitchen putting those lovely white labels on people's storage I want one. We only had the plastic imprint one when I was at home. I may have to save up a bit!enthusiasticsaver said:What a lovely well organised pantry and so impressed with that writing on the jars. Your pantry looks lovely, what a fantastic transformation.
We do not have a refill shop in the area. We buy our herbs and spices from a wholesaler which saves us a fortune. We store herbs and spices in a drawer in standard 1 lb jars with labels on the lids. In frequently surprised how quickly the jars need refilling.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

I really wish we had a refill shop near by but the one I used to go to occasionally was over 50 miles away so only went when we were away in the area in our motorhome (which was quite regularly!) closed down a year or so ago. Have noticed that my local Tesco have started doing the more common ground spices in big bags - things like garam masala, chilli powder, turmeric etc so have bought some of those. I've also used the big river company for some whole seeds as use quite a lot to make my own curry powder. Recently ordered a big bag of corriander seeds, when I've used up the couple of small jars of cumin seeds I've got I'll be ordering a big bag of those from there too. Definitely far cheaper that way.5
