@EssexHebridean - I've given away various sorts of cleaning products locally over the years - including some from grandparents' house clearances etc. And there's a (half?) bottle of fabric conditioner doing the rounds at the moment I've seen - I'm sure it'll go soon though.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Much, much better than wasting things. Agree about disposable nappies - sustainability nightmare. I definitely didn't dream this, btw!

As @Blackcats says, hope all goes well tomorrow. Well done for being brave and getting it sorted. And for having pots so this can happen without debt, what an excellent achievement! Make sure to be extra kind to yourself for the next few days x6

Thanks all. Am dreading it. Been awake since 2.40am. I just want it over & done with now, including this morning's 3.5k bill.

Hope it's not as bad as you fear. Baileys Babe's suggestion is a good one - think of something nice that is happening afterwards (easier said than done, of course!).Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
