Oh Abbafan, so sorry to hear about your cat, I am familiar with the pain. I wish there was something I could say to make it easier for you, but only a bunch of clichés come to mind ❤️
  • Morning All,

    Hope you are all OK.
I have in the past 10 days took to taking sugar from my food intake and I have a sweet tooth. I have also started looking at contents of what is in what we eat. It is going to take time to be mostly free from all the secret s***e that is hidden deliberately from us. Within 3 days I had noticed I was not bloated and feeling blurgh! There is no loss on the scales or visual changes yet I feel soo much better/slimmer.
It's all about us being our best what ever that takes, is success in itself.

    Have a good week all.

Sorry to read the loss of Jasper. They leave such holes in our hearts.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

    Morning Ladies,
thought I'd pop in and see how we are getting on. RL does get in our way and we lose focus too.
Hope that Autumn is a good season for you, I have never really given it much thought before. Simple things like I finished my "summer" coloured lipstick including taking it down totally with a lip brush to get it all out. I have located a suitable "autumn" brown lip stick which will be used along with a neutral lip balm when I am not leaving the house. This small thing has made me think and notice the changes more. This nice late weather is definitely helped my awareness.
I have a lovely selection of autumn/winter dresses and am looking forward to using the wardrobe of them. These are to go into retirement with me so not looking at much more spending of money either as I am looking at finishing work pre state pension and just living in the present. It will be tight budget wise but I am becoming to appreciate my worth even if others aren't.
We are out this week to see 2 live shows - something we rarely do. Tonight will be Jack Whitehall and Friday will be Alfie Boe.

    Have a fab week

    Evening ladies!

Wow, it has been very quiet here, hope you are all well and being kept busy by pleasant activities 😊

The time has gone so quickly this year, cannot believe it Christmas in a week's time. Although I will admit, that this year more than any other, I was annoyed by very early appearance of Christmas related items. Mince pies are lovely, but having them for a short period of time makes them more special. Same goes for decorations and music. Come December 1st, I am happy to sing along to Mariah or mr Bublé, put decorations up, eat more cheese than I care to admit and partake in any festive activities, and LOVE IT!! But I most definitely do not want to start in September. Why would anyone!?! Rant over.

Fabbing has gone ok I think. Most days I wear perfume, even bought a couple new scents to change it up a little. Have tried nail wraps and really like them. Fairly easy to put on, look great and last me 1-2 weeks. Never had that with nail polish, so will get more designs for the spring. A few items of clothing have gone into a charity box. Although a few have been purchased too, but I honestly believe they are timeless and will last me a long time.

Look forward to hearing how all of you are getting on 😊

Hugs and Kisses to all xx

    Morning fabulous All,

Well turn the pages and still expecting to find what I had written earlier would still be there, of course its not  :s

As we are still in Christmas hope the weather hasn't been too bad for you. Keep warm and dry. We have all been a bit off I've had covid then hubby is in his covid stage now. Keeps us out of the shops and spending what we don't have on what we don't need.

    Looking forward to 2024.
