  • Thank you lovely ladies 😊

Abbafan - sorry about your daughter being unwell. I hope she's feeling much better soon 💐

Wednesday - if you do decide to go for gravel just be aware that many people advise against because it can turn into a giant litter tray for the local cats! There are only two cats near us (belonging to our one close-ish neighbour) and they rarely, if ever, venture into our garden - probably as a result of our dog(s) - so we've been fortunate in that respect 😁

I've achieved a little more today  - removing extremely cracked quarry tiles from the steps out to the walled courtyard part of the garden. We plan to replace these with some nice contemporary encaustic tiles which will tie in with the historic vibe whilst bringing a splash of pattern to the newly created lobby. Hopefully all our efforts will enable us to find a buyer when the time comes!

    Hello Ladies,

    Welcome back Sammy Kaye
    :)

Sammy Kaye you might have to start with the easier tasks on your list. There is nothing more satisfying than being able to take even the smallest step towards your overall goals. Fabbing is a personal journey, not a destination.

When I was in Blackfriars Settlement last week, I picked up a leaflet about an organisation that offers free or very low priced theatre tickets to people who are on Benefits. I joined up as soon as I got home. Today, I managed to book 4 theatre tickets for myself across this week. Three of the tickets were completely free and the 4th ticket  only cost me £1.  :)  <3

It is great to have such a warm, balmy day here in my corner of South East London.  :) I did not go out today, as I needed to catch up on housework, as I have theatre tickets for the rest of the week apart from Tuesday and Sunday, but I do have a free cinema ticket for Tuesday evening.  :)

Oh no. Lol. When we first moved in we did have a cat trying to go to the toilet in our garden until he realised that we have a Jack Russell! We were thinking maybe slate stones or whatever they are called. We could put down paving slabs instead. I hate any type of gardening and wouldn't even go out there if it wasn't for my dog.  :s

SammyKaye - I loved Supernatural, the actor who plays Sam in that show is in Gilmore Girls when he was younger.:)

    Happy belated birthday, Sugarbaby.

Nice to meet you, SammyKaye. That's exactly how I felt so little steps at a time and you'll get there.

I haven't been doing much. Had a CT scan last Friday and have a hospital appointment on Thursday. Today I've just had a bit of a spa. Not as good as having it done professionally but I've been slapping on the body butter so my skin is feeling really soft and my nails are looking nice. I can't grow them very long but I have small hands so it doesn't matter too much. Facial skin is looking much better too since I got into a routine.

Just can't wait to get my hair done but have to wait for the outcome of tests to see what's what.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

    Hello Ladies,

Toni's Friend thank you:) You are doing enough when it comes to the personal fabbing  :)

I am working on my fingernails, but they still keep on breaking really easily. I do not mind them being short, but I wish all my hard work on my fingernails had begun to pay off.

I have been enjoying watching plays on National Theatre at Home today. I finished watching The Seagull, then I watched The Boy With 2 Hearts, then I watched Death of England.  :)
