Watty......
love the jazz band. I have a friend who says she would love a New Orleans style funeral, glass coach, plumed horses, jazz band the lot. 😂🤣. I hope she's taken out evough insurance to cover the cost.......tbh her husband is one of the most tight fisted men I've ever met so I doubt she'll get her wish if she goes first. Lol
re grief.......it can be overwhelming and we just have to work through it. I think it's a process which can't be rushed. If truth be told, in one sense, I don't think it ever really ends, I think we just adapt and eventually we heal, but there will always be scars. That sounds negative but I don't mean it that way......I think eventually we find peace and serenity. I am finally there but it has taken me over 8 years. I don't know if that's "excessive" or what but it is what it is. I am happy and content now. You'll get there. And you've made a great start, on your rebuild. I firmly believe it all starts with a bit of TLC and upping our self care.Well the family have "moved in. It's lovely. DS and DIL are enjoying being pampered and having a break from cooking etc and the children are having a whale of a time.Just off to chiro........7 -

@Watty1 I understand how you feel. I found counselling to be very helpful to sort out my feelings for my failed marriages, have you considered that at all?2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Morning everyone.I am not really sure what music I would like, as it’s hard to pick something upbeat. It would probably be something by ABBA.I did get in touch with the hairdresser for a cut, but it’s not until Sunday 5th. She couldn’t do this Sunday as she’s off. It was either that or tomorrow but I will be working.I have to take the cat to the vet later at 5.45 for a Steroid injection as he’s been sneezing blood and the injection. The vet said he has a respiratory problem, but further tests would cost so much. It’s money I don’t have.Speak to you all later. Sorry @Floss but ding dong the witch is dead did make me giggle. Yes I had counselling after I left, it was provided free by a charity and it was fabulous as it centred on some of the economic and financial abuse I had been subjected to and gave me some tools to cope but - and here is the downside - a lack of resources meant i moved back into the joint home as i thought we had reached a settlement only to find he was still living there and did not plan to settle. So my very lovely partner shows through and then at times the bad version shows up. It is like being with Jeckel and Hyde, which it was when we were a couple so I'm utterly confused.
Perhaps I should go for more counselling. Actually I think that might help.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!6 -

Made an unexpected start to replenish my wardrobe, bagged myself a new top at a bargain price €3. A basic cap sleeve v neck t shirt in black, extremely versatile, very happy.

Watty1 the funeral sounds fabulous, your mum would be proud. The story of your relationship and how it ended is so sad, I hope you can work it all out and find yourself again.6
