Last year @Suffolk_lass wrote this to everyone:
To all of you asking for the same number again, it really adds to the workload of setting the new one up for @slowlyfading. This challenge has always been numbered in the order people arrive, with two; slowlyfading, who runs it and geoffers4 who (I believe) maintains the all years totals spreadsheet, or maybe three exceptions - the earlier you ask to join, the lower your number you are allocated, with a different number every year, filling up from the top - so please don't be disappointed if you don't get the same number as last year,

Possibly an odd question here but...
I was 7th to reply to the new thread last night and was thinking I might finally get a number within the top 10 (I know I am sad!) Then I saw people after me posting and requesting to keep the low number they had this year.
If it works that way and I won't get in the first 10 can I please keep my number 11 from this year?
This crossed with the post above which explains what I have asked clearly. Thank you Gem-gem for the clarificationSave £8,000 in 2023 #10: £49,148/ £8,000 :j3 -

Hi SF and all MSErs! Happy New Year!
Was No 57 last year, but will happily be any number.
Managed to come in over target last year, but with building work needed at home, things will be tighter. So £6,000 again please.

Hi Slowlyfading,
Thanks very much for doing this again. It's really appreciated. I'll aim for £24,000 again this year but the need to buy a ULEZ compatible car and some work on the house may mean it doesn't get met.
