Sorry for the lack of updates, following Mums hospital stay her twin sister is now also in hospital, she has osteoporosis and to cut a long story short was in agony wither her back, called the dr who advised she called an ambulance. Paramedics advised painkillers. Two days later she called another one, same advice from them. Two days later she called the dr back, dr came out to se her and called 999 himself, insisting they take her in. Turns out she has broken her back
Anyway, this has meant several trips to see her (she has no kids), I took Mum to see her yesterday which was an absolute mission (Aunt lives 45 minutes from me so is not in a local hospital).
Today I am having a complete lazy day - marathon watching followed by an afternoon of football watching. I do have some work to get done but can do that while watching, also the end of the month banking to look at which isn't going to be pretty as the extra petrol / car park costs / hospital shop purchases etc need factoring in somewhere.Mortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000

Happy Bank Holiday weekend! The sun has been out all week and I'm hoping it lasts at least some of the weekend .. so new month, new budget, not much planned this weekend; I want to get out in the garden and get more done there, I do need to invest in a new hosepipe as mine won't stay on the tap. Seeing my brother for a bit tomorrow, football on tomorrow, oh and I might be seeing the original hottie on Monday

Having a lovely weekend so far but really must stop spending so much on plants, compost and garden stuff, I really don't know what's happened to me, I've never had any interest in the garden but all of a sudden I'm like a possessed thing - I blame perimenopause; hot flushes seem to have passed me by but the gardening bug definitely hit me!
Yesterday I went to a local market and bought various plants, then needed some more big pots to put them in, and several bags of compost. Today I have bought a new adaptor for the hosepipe as it keeps falling off the tap (£9). I've also been to Boots and bought various bits and pieces that were running low, toothpaste, body scrub, a root spray as my hair desperately needs colouring, hyaluronic acid and some makeup (£40).
I've planted up all my new plants, waiting for ds to fix the hosepipe for me, shampooed the downstairs carpets and am now having some lunch and watching the footie. My bedding is nearly dry on the line, the second load of washing has just gone out, life is goodMortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000

I have been in the garden too. Hard work but it will look great in the summer. A great pace to relax. How is your DS these days? Have you decorated his bedroom yet? I really think it is great that you both have a good relationship with each other.1

Hello Lord M, ds is good, he seems to be enjoying having his friend staying, he seems more settled at the moment which is good. His bedroom is on hold now until the summer, with everything with my Mum and my Aunt it had to wait, so will now be a summer holiday project.Mortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000
