First week back at work went quick - 6 more to go!
A lazy weekend for me, my Aunt doesn't want any visitors this weekend so I will go during the week instead. Yesterday and today have been spent pottering and catching up with bits - a trip to the tip, bedding washed, washing basket emptied, hoovered through, bathroom cleaned, showerheads descaled, kitchen food cupboards cleaned and sorted, kitchen cleaned. This afternoon I want to cut the grass and trim the hedge if it dries up enough from yesterday. I also need to top up the water in the windscreen washers, one of those silly little jobs that I forget about until I need to use themMortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000

You are always so productive! I spent yesterday on the sofa reading and today I've wandered round town, had a coffee and am now about to go into Lidl but having another coffee first😁
I must go home and do something useful!I really need to sort out a new signature!1 -
Ahh thanks
I've been to see Mum for an hour or so and done the hedge but the grass is too wet to cut so that will get left for another day. Just off to do the windscreen washers then it will be time to sit for a bitMortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000

Aaagh, I typed a really long update post and it hasn't saved
Basically a summarised version: apologies for being MIA, this time of the year work gets crazy busy until we break up in 3 weeks time ... my Aunt is still ticking along although she is declining noticeably. She is now in a nursing home which is much nearer home for me meaning I can visit every other day (my sister does the days I don't go). I have joined a gym (starts July 1st), and no news on my op yet x
Today is a catch up / reset kinda day again, getting ready for the month ahead, needing to be careful as I seem to be overspending at the moment but not sure why, so will be monitoring my money closely this month. Summer holidays always get a bit spendy with being off work too, so need to be careful.
So far I have cleaned my bedroom and the bathroom, stripped my bedding and washed it, the rest of todays list includes:- Clean the car inside and out
- Hoover through
- Clean the fridge
- Wrap birthday presents for a friend
- End of month banking
- Start planning the summer holiday to do list (just for you Pixie x)
- Prep food for work tomorrow
- See Mum

That's a good Sunday list😁 Looking forward to the holiday one - I need to think about things I want to get done too. Best part of the year when you work in a school😆I really need to sort out a new signature!1

Apologies for the lack of updates, it's been a crazy busy end of term and the days have disappeared far too quickly. This weekend has been horrendous with my Mums dog (that we shared) being put to sleep on Friday and then my Aunt passing away last night.
I've got 1.5 days left at work then I can start to focus on everything else that's going on and actually get back to some proper updates on here, sorryMortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000

So sorry to hear about both your Aunt and dog passing, sending you a massive hug xx3
