Morning, original hottie can't make it now today, he has to work, but hopefully meeting up next weekend instead.
This morning I have had a shower then been and bought another bit for the tap/hosepipe, just need ds to tighten it up for me. I also took some stuff to the tip and returned a parcel, £12 on its way back to me.

The oven is on to roast a chicken, chicken, chips and coleslaw for us today. I will go and see Mum later, then just a pottering, no more spending kinda day hopefully.

I've also got the gardening bug, kids are all grown up so i'm now nurturing plants. I can be quite often found at the bottom of the garden in my PJs with a mug of tea, lost in my own little world  :D and i love it.

I like these four day weeks, its Friday already tomorrow! Home from work and I've watered all the plants, done some washing, emptied the dishwasher and the place is still pretty much tidy so not too much to do this weekend. Tonight I have cashed out £5 on VYPR app, £13 from Prolific and sold an item on Vinted for £12 :) Off to send to the mortgage overpayment pot.

Apologies for the lack of updates, life has been busy. So it turns out my aunts broken back was worse than thought - cutting a long story short they struggled to get the pain under control and after further tests she has been diagnosed with breast cancer that has spread to her bones, she has had two further breaks to her back while in hospital. We are having a meeting, hopefully this week, with the cancer nurse to look at a plan. They have said it isn't curable but is treatable, we'll see what they say. I am off to visit her again in an hour or so.

Half-term here this week, generally a week to reset, catch up on various jobs and meet several friends for coffee :)

Sorry to hear about your aunt. Sounds positive that it’s treatable, I hope they can do something to help her. One of my friends had myeloma and bones in her back kept breaking. She ended up having metal plates in her spine.

Thank you Sun Addict xx I went to see her this afternoon and can see she is noticeably worse than a week ago. She has an oxygen tube in her nose and hasn't been out of bed for a month now. She was asleep when I got there and was very tired so I didn't stay too long.
