Time for a long overdue catch-up ... we finally made it to the end of term, typical crazy last week but it's done now :)
Work night out was great, then yesterday I met up with my brother and his family for lunch then saw some friends in the evening. Today is a pj day, staying in and relaxing. I've done some housework and washing, and am now going to enjoy the football. After that it will be a nice bath and maybe a film.

Tomorrow morning is the food shop, then any last minute bits followed by my nails appointment.

  • Hi @benbenandme long time lurker first time poster. Just got my diary to help with my debt busting.
Always loved reading your diary and hearing about your beach walks. Wow, you’ve don’t do well on the weight loss. I’ve not been in a size 10 since I was aged 10!! Hoping my newly single status and debt will keep me on the straight and narrow diet wise! Enjoy your pj day x

Thanks Justcracking, hopefully some nice beach walks coming between Christmas and New Year :) Good luck with your debt busting x

So this morning I have been and done the food shop - £40 in M&S and £108 in Tesco. It included enough food for a week though, not just Christmas Day and Boxing Day. It also included some stocking fillers etc too, so overall not too bad. The fridge is full but not stupidly stuffed like normal, it feels better :)

The rest of today will be spent wrapping, delivering, having my nails done and trying to catch up on some bits on the telly.

Morning all, hope everyone had a good Christmas and is enjoying the chill time until New Year. I'm not keen on Christmas but I do love these few days before I go back to work - a week to chill, declutter, get organised and plan for the new year ahead.

I have a small list of bits and pieces that I need to get done, but there is very much a plodding attitude to it, so if it doesn't all happen it doesn't matter:

    • Return a dress to H&M
    • Clean the car
    • Christmas decorations away
    • Christmas tree and wreath in the garden bin
    • Clean carpets
    • Call Sky re contract
    • Declutter makeup box
    • Empty and clean fridge
    • Declutter and sort airing cupboard
    • Find tickets I bought to a show next year
    • But lightbulbs for conservatory light and fit them
    • Plant more bulbs
    • End of year banking
    • Return Shein parcel
This morning I have been to Home Bargains and stocked up on cat food and some cleaning bits. Tomorrow my brother is coming over and we are blitzing Mums bungalow all day so needed extra gloves, bin bags etc. I also went to H&M and returned the dress.

  • Hi @benbenandme love your lists, they are always so inspiring.  I need to write more lists and hope it makes me more accountable! Whilst they're in my head it doesn't count!
