Mum drives me insane - she's ridiculous about eating manky old food but will spend god knows how much on cigarettes every day :(

More fence painting done, had to go and buy a second tin as I finished the first :) Only 3 panels left to go but am tired now, fingers crossed the weather will hold and I can do them tomorrow. They probably do need a second coat but I quite like the effect - as it's a light (thin) colour that's gone on top of a dark colour it looks almost limewashed and I like it :) I might see how we go with one coat for now.

Another parcel has arrived with its new owner and been paid for, off to update the signature again :)

Morning, got up and finished painting the fences :) Now I need to decide if I'm going to do the shed and the gate the same colour or a slightly darker shade, probably the same I think.

Decided the shed is going instead :) It isn't watertight, it belonged to the one who hit me so is a reminder that I don't need, and was originally there for ds to smoke in when it's raining, but he now sits in the garage anyway so it isn't needed. Ds is happy to dismantle it for me, it might take a few trips to the tip to get rid of it :)

I went and delivered a pile of cards to a local trader, signature needs updating again :) Then I went shopping to get some bits for back to school - some new socks and tights for winter, a new jumper from Primark, a new foundation as mine ran out last week (had a gift card for that), some skirt hangers (didn't have any and they end up falling off or all screwed up if folded). I also got ds some new black trousers for work, he has two pairs but in the winter drying them can be a pain.

Home now, had some lunch and now just chilling for a bit before carrying on with the garden :)

    Hey, good morning ;)
I haven't been on here for soooo long - I only went and missed your epic summer holiday list! Mine is pathetic compared to yours🙈
Sorry to hear you were poorly, hope you're feeling a lot better now.
Summer holidays are going too quickly here. I really need to get cracking with some of the declutteribg and tidying jobs that I had planned for the summer. If I don't do them now, they'll never get done😉
I really need to sort out a new signature!

Hey Pixie, good to see you xx no jobs done from the list today, I went and met a friend and did some shopping - she has a new job and needed some clothes for work so it was mainly her buying :) We had some lunch then I went for my eyebrow appointment. Nothing planned for this evening, tomorrow is meant to be thunderstorms so tomorrow will be the great wardrobe declutter, bring it on!!

Morning, so the weather is as predicted here today, blowing a hoolie and chucking it down, more like January! Anyway, I have made a good start on my room - I have a wardrobe, a set of 4 drawers then a small set of 3 drawers either side of my bed. The 4 big drawers have clothes in, the bedside ones have one drawer each with clothes, the other drawers are random bits - toiletries, medicine box etc. I also have 4 drawers under my bed, one is bags . holdalls, one is gift wrap, cards, banners etc, one is shoes and one is clothes that are the wrong size. The floor of my wardrobe is another area to be sorted. So, I have done the 4 big drawers already - I was ruthless and have culled about 40% of what was in them. Not one item is good enough for Vinted which shows how long I hold on to old stuff that either I liked but is well past its best, or is just stuff I held on to "because it might be useful for painting" etc. As you know I don't do a lot of painting, so I really don't need a lot of clothes kept for it :) My socks were another area that needing culling - 28 pairs of trainer socks, no-one needs this many, especially someone who doesn't run!

Summer stuff is being packed away for next year - I still have t-shirts and dresses etc but shorts and bikinis are not needed this year :( Onto the next bit!
