Mortgage Overpayments Pot £10790 -
And I've just applied for a new current account - I have several current accounts, my main one that my salary goes into and most of my payments come out of, a Monzo one with various savings pots, another one that I've had years and has one dd and then a last one that I only use to switch. I rarely use it, just literally sue it to move around every now and then to claim switching bonuses. Anyway, I have applied for a Natwest account, completed the application, uploaded the id and it says the account will be open by tomorrow. Then I just need to pay in £1250 within 60 days and log in to the mobile app and I get £200 within 7 days
Happy days! The £1250 will be borrowed from a monzo pot then returned again to it once the bonus has been paid out.

Hi BB&M Just caught up on your diary
On the whole decluttering project (I am on the same wagon - aiming for 1000 items by the end of 2023!) have you tried Olio? It works best in urban areas where there are lots of potential collectors, but I've shifted heaps of stuff by listing on there and people collect from your home or designated public place if you prefer. It started as a food waste reduction app so you can also list/collect food, but I've ended up using it more for non-food items.Choose kind1 -
Thanks HazelNutty, I haven't tried Olio but if I'm honest almost all of what I'm getting rid of is just rubbish, it's no use to man nor beast. Anything that might be worth salvaging goes on facebook marketplace, I have sold a few bits on there over the last year but the vast majority of what I'm chucking is rubbish that should have been cleared out long ago - think notebooks with only a few pages left in them, old receipts, half used candles that don't smell of anything anymore etc.
When I sorted the cupboard under the sink I left about 6 bottles with small amounts of stuff in them on the kitchen windowsill to remind me to use them up. I have finished a bottle of flash floor cleaner tonight, one more thing gone but used up firstMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Morning, £5 transferred from Prolific into the summer holiday pot this morning
Today is one of my favourite days of the year as the Premier League is back!! So I have had a shower, actually bothered to dry and straighten my hair properly, made sure my bedroom is tidy, and am now having half an hour on the laptop before I take the car for its check. The sun looks like it's thinking about making an appearance, fingers crossed

So I took the car for its check, only to get there and find they were closed as they had a problem with their tills. I spoke to the manager and said it was poor that they hadn't let people know who had appointments, he said they couldn't get on the computer ... so 20 minute journey each way, wasted time and petrol. I stopped off at Tesco on the way back and spent £42 but got 2 chickens, 2 packs of bacon, a new lunchbox for work and other bits that I know I've used this week and needed replacing.
I have a friends husband popping round later to give me a quote to sort the garden for me - to remove the gravel, rotivate it, lay some turf, maybe a step ... the summer holiday fund will be going towards it. Other than that the sun didn't really put much effort in today, its quite overcast again but is fairly warm.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

My new bank account is now open so I've downloaded the app, logged in, transferred the money and fingers crossed that will earn me £200 by next weekend, very easy money to make!Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Quote is in - roughly £800 to rotivate the ground, lay topsoil and turf and build a step. Once the bank account payment and my glasses payments are in I should have made enough in the summer holiday pot to cover it without touching any other pots
Very happy with that!

Morning all, a good nights sleep for me last night and am looking forward to an afternoon of football again today, This morning I might tidy some bits of the garden that aren't being done, it has at least given me a bit of motivation in that area now. Hopefully there might be some betting offers about today too.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
