You’ve reminded me I really need to buy some new glasses. I had my eyes tested in January and needed a stronger prescription but still haven’t got around to getting new ones. Good idea to have a separate savings pot for them, I’ve had a few bits due for paying recently there are no pots but will be going forward. It’s such a shame you had to cancel the beach hut, it sounds fabulous. It wouldn’t be much fun in this weather though so you’ve made the right decision. I’m sure whatever you end up doing will be great.I’ve done the feet peeling thing before and oh my days who knew I had so much spare skin on my feet 😆 I walk everywhere 20,000 steps plus most days so my feet take some hammering.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Thanks Sun Addict, the glasses are non-negotiable really - I'm getting more frequent headaches recently and it seems that it is because my eyes are strained. Apparently work will pay £50 towards the cost of my glasses so that will help a bit.
I am feeling quite achy / shivery so am going to have half an hours nap on the sofa, but I am very pleased with myself, I have made myself list all my Christmas stock from my cards - we have a sale page as some people are going to carry on selling independently. I have so much stock it's embarrassing, especially Christmas stock, but I have photographed it and listed it as bundles on the page and already have about £35 in sales, hopefully this will clear some space and boost the savings pot too.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Up to around £90 in sales now but I won't add it to the pot until they're posted and paid for. The nap didn't help, I feel worse, am now in pj's, in bed, shivering like crazy
Overall I feel I've had quite a productive day though

Just made some pate on toast for lunch and a Magnum after. This afternoon will be spent pottering about, hoovering, doing some housework bits and pieces. Prolific is quiet today but that is usual at weekends.
Can't remember if I mentioned but last Sunday I did one of those Footners things - I wanted to go for a pedicure but my feet are such a mess from walking that I'd be too embarrassed to do so, this seems like the next best option. Anyway, for anyone who isn't familiar with them, basically you put your feet in a plastic bag with some liquid in, leave them for an hour and rinse. Up to a week later your feet begin to peel and you are left with baby soft skin. Oh my days, the peeling!! It's well and truly happening! Once it's done I'm sure my feet will be lovely but right now they look horrific!1 -
A very long sleep and I feel fine again today, that was strange! A few more bits sold overnight, today I need to go and get some postage bags and do a trip to the post office. This afternoon I'm meeting a friend for a coffee and a walk around a local castle.

I've had a shower and sorted the car insurance and am starting to feel achy again
I will have a couple of paracetamol and see if that does the trick.
Car insurance ran out on 23rd, I thought it automatically renewed but got an email yesterday saying it had finished. Renewal quote was £219 so I phoned them up and todays price (just two days later) is now £308! So I politely told him I wasn't remotely interested, to be fair he agreed with me, then went online and got it for £230 instead, so all sorted now.

Thanks Beanie, I'm just selling it as job lots at the moment, haven't listed any everyday cards yet, just clearing Christmas stock - it's nice to clear it as I had so many packs of Christmas cards and that didn't sit well with me, I think because I don't send them myself! The normal birthday / occasion type cards are much nicer and more usefulMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
