Sorry for the radio silence, I've been wiped out this week, barely out of bed most days, did a covid test and it wasn't that but I have felt so rough. Yesterday was my first attempt at a proper day - my brother came down to see me as I won't see him on my birthday - we went out for lunch and then to footie (pre season friendly). It was a lovely day and the weather was good, I was shattered afterwards though and slept well last night. Today I feel noticeably better and have managed to get up, have a bath, strip my bed, tidy my room and put the rubbish out so far. I'm not going to push it but I do want to start getting things done as the place is like a bomb-site and this week seems to have disappeared with nothing being achieved.

Having said that I have sold another £30 of cards which need posting tomorrow. I'm pleased with how the Christmas stock is going, I may move on to the non Christmas stuff later this week.

My brother gave me my birthday present early yesterday, we usually spend approx £30 but my brother is well-off and knows things can be a bit tight for me, so imagine my shock, and happiness, when he got me a new fitbit!! I love it so much! Way overspent but he said he knew I'd appreciate it and use it :)

Been to have my nails done this morning, I'm meant to have my hair done on Friday but she has messaged saying she's been in hospital and not sure yet if she will be okay or not. It's not an issue, I can reschedule if needed.
I'm still struggling with the energy levels - yesterday I slept for 3 hours on the sofa in the afternoon and still managed 9 hours sleep last night. My body obviously needs it to fight off whatever it is so I'm going with it but my head doesn't adjust so easily, it keeps thinking of all the things I could be getting on with, but two minutes into doing something and I'm sat down again :)

Today is a pottering about while the rain plops down, trying to eat more normally again, getting everything straight before the new month starts, kinda day.

Morning all, yesterday was my birthday and I had a super day - lots of lovely, very generous gifts, saw friends and family and a lovely long chat with the original hottie :) Went to bed feeling very spoiled and happy :)

Another £60 from sales and £10 from Prolific to add to the summer holiday pot.

Today is meant to be even worse weather than recently, (very glad I cancelled my beach hut in the end), so the plan today is to get the house into shape then spend some time doing a few bits off the list. Starting with a coffee :)

  • Happy birthday for yesterday BenBen.

Weather really is pants such a shame you had to cancel the beach hut, so glad my kids are grown up now and i'm not having to entertain them in this weather.
