Good news on the car Round.
HB I can feel your frustration, hope things keep improving x
Not a bad day here, two loads of washing almost dried outside. Paid stuff done, pie made for tea. Called at Li@l and spent £57, need to do spreadsheets tomorrow.
Fayolle DS has a specialist nursing team but usually if you email them someone rings back in a day or so, but that hasnt happened. He doesnt want to ring them himself, and now it's weekend and he still isnt better, although he is improving. Sigh.
Bit of telly and some Christmas wine now.9 -
Morning all
Wet and windy here again today. I’ve lit the fire in the living room, it’s not too cold outside but we’ve loads of outside work to do and I like to dry the waterproofs and gloves over the fire.
I’ll strip the kids bedding and get those in to wash as well.
No plans to go anywhere at all today, too much to do here, so I can safely declare this NSD 5/31. Have lovely days all xx11 -
Morning all. Wet and windy here too, though some of the wind has lessened IF you get my drift
I plan on having a pottery sort of day, getting some admin jobs done and not succumbing to my cold.

Morning all,
Wet, windy and very miserable here too. First week back at work out of the way, and I didn’t get up until 9am this morning! Just finishing my cuppa, then I really must make a start, although the weather just makes me want to curl up with a book. The wm is on with some jumpers in, then there is another load waiting.I haven’t really planned the day, but it will include HHI, bathrooms and maybe a teensy weensy bit of decluttering. We are out for a meal tonight as DD is going back to uni some time next week. I’ll miss her being around.
Stood on the scales this morning for the first time since Christmas. Rather wish I hadn’t!! Tried it twice, but got the same answer!4/31 NSD, had to buy petrol yesterday to get to work.
Hope all poorlies feel a bit better. Have a lovely day all xx10 -

Thank you piggers and Natty xx
Cold, wet and windy here too. In fact tis blowing a hoolie!
I'm up, dressed, made my bed, taken meds, eaten breakfast, supped two brews, read two magazines- to be recycled, brought down the laundry hamper, taken up the boxed tree and bag of baubles, taken up hand creams and shower gel, brought down a candle (which I found among the toiletry stash!) and opened the post.
Coffee next.
Then:
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Or should I do that first then cabin myself in with a coffee. That sounds like a plan.
Take care

I have headache.. Squeak refused to go in to her muscial theatre class.. OH coddled it.. ggrrrr.. that does not help!!
Kitchen S&S'd
DW filled and on.. it needs the dinner plates from last night in next and the remaining oven trays.
Swimming later.
I need a shopping run.. I mmight build a list so I don't have to go.. OH and Pixie can go.
EC is inhabited.. she is a triplet, dad is a twin.. she is going to have a litter! He has already blocked her on social media.. I think that says all she needs to know. I did say a few months ago either her or Moomin would be by the end of this year.. I wouldn't be surprised if they both weren't at this point.. *sigh*
Did I mention I have a headache?

I was muttering about getting rid of the TD this morning by putting it free on g/tree and Belovéd suggested we offer it to the two waifs and strays we've had for Christmas Day the last couple of years who now share a delapidated but affordable house. They were, apparently, only saying yesterday that they might get one. *fling*

Hi all
Another late starter here, I didnt wake up until 8.30am and now have a fuzzy head, serves me right. I have spent aaages flying in the kitchen but I am not convinced it looks much better. I have cleaned both ovens though and also been through the cupboards and worked out what we have in our stores.
DS1 has made us brunch so the DW is now on, and he has changed his bed so WM going too. Wet, windy and miserable out.
Clean washing put away then I really should get Henry out and do the dining bit of the kitchen and wash the floor so at least that is one room done properly. DS2s bed needs making back up, there is clean washing to put away, and I must look properly at my spreadsheets and January budget. None of this is very appealing.
I am going to have a little 20 minute sit down first.11
