Hi all, just rushing in to say I'm still here. Manic week! The others are still away till tonight, so I'm frantically trying to get the little room decorated. I've now put three coats of paint on the walls. It still looks awful! Why is some paint so thin? I know it's gone onto bare plaster, but it's still not covering as i thought it would. I may just do the gloss later and leave the walls for now. The room is used when other grandchild or great niece and nephew come. None of them are over three, so i don't think they will complain.
This week we've managed to change two toilet seats. Swapped one for the other as the downstairs one wouldn't stay when lifted. Much better now.
So along with the normal DW, WM, animals, weeds, etc, a busy week.
Dentist later and a quick run round the shops.
@asparklyblonde, if you moved to Wales your prescriptions would be free. Your have to with up the cost saving against now much moving house would cost though.

Hello all, I'm still here too. Glad that Valli's pain has subsided.
Its been mega busy at work but I've kept up to date with dailies, dog walking and a little weeding.
Going to get my hair cut shortly then I've another work shift before DGD1 arrives for her sleepover.Spend less now, work less later.12 -
You do make me smile @mumtoomany x
Quick check in from the paid stuff. Happy to report a NSD so 4/31. Gammon in SC for dinner, and hopefully a decent film and an early night. Take care all xx13 -
DW emptied and refilled.
Sides wiped.. again.. and the fridge..
I have not listed anything or shuffled the laundry but I have vacuumed lots and put away the festive bushcooker is fixed.. 2 knives retrieved from behind it.Loo scrubbed and the reed diffuser changed to a new one.
I feel all virtuous.. I think I've done more this week than I have in the previous 3 months.. bar the 26th when I spent 9 hours cleaning..

One return to work week at 75% hours survived. Woot woot.
The garage phoned earlier to say they have sourced the part - Flylady power rules OK - and I'm taking Feargal in on Monday to have it fitted.
Came home, got changed, and took down the Christmas tree before I sat down so it's done. Just need to take it all upstairs.
Read a magazine time. And breathe.
Love to all

Special birthday person dinner shopping trip decluttered. I'm still pole-axed by doing too much yesterday so although I've taken down the outside lights and Belovéd has taken down most of the inside stuff we still need to dismatle the star, the tree (all 15" of it) and the garland. We have at least put the laundry away.I heartily warn all Flyladies against breaking an ankle. I cannot manage much at the moment, it's healed fine but the wear and repair on a 66 year old body has astonished me. I hate feeling this pathetic, I know it's not my fault, but I have things I want to do and I just can't. I don't mind not dusting and vacuuming etc, which I'm sure comes as a great surprise, but not being able to do things I want to do is reallly frustrating.*Get well soon* vibes for all Flyladies who are not feeling 100%.Better is good enough.11

I seem to have caught DD's cold so I'm on 'watch self and how I feel' very carefully. I feel fine for now though.
I have been to work (where I felt fine) and come home and taken down xmas trees and decs. All now ready to shift back into attic at some point.
