Spends today of £9.35 on a prescription. Still at 3/31 NSDs for January.
Paid stuff done, fire lit. Meal plan done for this coming week. It is so gloomy here weather wise.

Laundrette visit decluttered, four huge bags decanted into three machines, and I monopolised three dryers as and when they became free. Masses of people in there, some using the WMs and TDs and some arriving with bags of soggy washing so just tumbling so I helped someone fold mountains of clothes (her, three sons, husband and two parents) so I could nab her TDs. Well worth it for the amount of laundry that had backed up here but I'm now shattered as I knew I would be. I need to sort the settle out where we keep the linens and towels for the two letting rooms before I put all of that away, everything else is away or airing on a rack. Four things and tiny things that can't be tumbled outside where it is breezy even if it is still a bit damp underfoot.
Better is good enough.9 -
Been to work, and hospital, and town (birthday cards from a relevant factory and s@vers) and Mr L on the way home. Small wonder I’m now having a lie down.
Get the comment re pain meds KMN but I’m presuming, as it’s a side effect, it will pass. I have nagged DD previously about keeping on top of period pain by not dropping meds; also these are addictive so I am being careful.
Towels and potholders and oven gloves all TD’d and the inspiration to grab the fabric (in the middle of the night) has paid off as the crafter has accepted it with delight. Pure wool tartan skirt length that is probably as old as DS has gone as well as some other fabric, including the remainder of that my sister gave me. If I was going to do anything with it I’m sure I would have by now. So excellent flingage. Now all I have to do is find my work keys…ho hum (whistles nonchalantly).Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Gloomy here too ASB, not particularly cold though.
Tired and sinusy today, plodding on, another full day at the paid stuff ticked off. Kitchen sides given a good wash down, called for milk and bought some reduced price fish gougons that will do three meals for me, 2 portions have gone in the freezer. Oh and I remembered about a jumper I bought DS and top I bought MIL that I bought and decided I didnt like so they have gone back, that's £40 to go back in the bank account.
DS still hasnt had a call from the hospital, which is unusual. He is about the same, I am worrying a bit because he is getting some odd symptoms similar to when he got the Lymphoma. I am going to try and persuade him to ring the hospital tomorrow.11 -
Evening all,
You’re all so busy, I have only managed to get one load washed (mainly jeans, no hope of those getting dry any time soon), dinner done, QHI, and kitchen tidy (ish). Dw is on, wm loaded for tomorrow.
Work is tricky, there seem to be plans afoot, nobody seems quite sure what, so everyone is uneasy. I’m keeping my head down and just ploughing on.
YL, hugs, is there a dedicated number that DS (or you if he won’t do it) can call? It’s tricky, I know, like walking on glass sometimes.
Valli, take it easy, you’ve done loads today.

Of course @Valli, you know yourself best
Hopefully it's been better again this evening?
,More baby stuff donated to us this afternoon from OHs work colleague. At this rate I think we'll not have to buy anything until baby is about 2 years old! We've now got a playmate, a bunch of toys, some books... we're so lucky to not have to have too much outlay but also it is starting to feel a little claustrophobic£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January11 -

DD full of cold so I’ve kind of been avoiding her. Bought her balsam tissues in Mr L thus giving impression of concerned and loving mother.
Black bin out…despite Xmas it’s still not full. Just realised I dodged a bullet…was dry when I went out with the bin not long ago - it’s lashing down now!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
