Hi all,
no update this week, just treading water as we had a mini break away which was lovely.
The great thing about this thread is keeps me in check- we were going to redo the garden but realised that a) it wasn't really needed and b) we wouldn't achieve the goal of paying off all our debts this year, so we have opted for tidy up, fix or repair and love it as it is now.

Morning, Just wanted to check in with you following your post.  We have to deal with whatever life throws at us in a way that works for you.  Its a good mindset you have, once clear of debt then lots of things you may want become reality, so long as you continue to budget and save up.  Thats what im trying to do now I have cleared my debt.  You will get there and whats another year, you could have your dream garden in 12 months which hasnt been added to add and saved for! You are doing really well by the way!

Paid £500 to loan, stumbled across the Dave Ramsey show and his baby steps. Decided from that to move down some money from emergency fund to loan.

I should now with new tax code pay the same overpayment each month going forward so hoping with no emergencies/ unexpected costs to clear this by Oct / Nov

Then 2024 will be to get 3 / 4 months ahead pot built up.
