Coxy, oops the aida bug is catching, would they fit in 9" hoops? Sorry to hear about your dad's diagnosis, i hope he is as comfortable as possible.

Re the card exchange can i suggest that we all send by 2nd class, the price of 1st class is just silly these days.

Coxy the PL cities look amazing. You’ve done a great job as you’ve made it look intentional. I’m so sorry to hear about your dad. He sounds like he has everything he needs to make him comfortable at the moment.
TC of yourself all, hoping you’re all safe in the storm x

    Morning all,

Yes agree to the 2nd class postage for the Christmas exchange. I bought a 1st class stamp for my niece's birthday card and it was £1.25! Can I just check that everyone is at the same address as last Christmas before I share who you should send to?? Please PM me if not!!

9" hoops might work @nmm - I think I had it in my head that they needed to be 10" but I might pop to Hobbycraft over the weekend and take them with me to see :)

Me too Coxy. I know we have bought a house but still living here whilst we renovate. 9” hoops is a great idea NMM. I need to get a new hoop, just can’t get the tension on this one. I assume they do get old!

Coxy, same address here too, just looking for a design my favourite part :)

Charly i use a R&R Lap Frame, i would never go back to a hoop now.

I love that bit too Nmm. I have my lap frame which I LOVE and is so much better for my hands but what if it’s a really small piece? It’s only 12x12cm when it’s done. I don’t know if it’d fit in the small section of my frame. Might try it though as my hands struggling after chiselling up floor tiles!

Good morning from a sunny Kent! I have a day to myself today as DH is in Tenerife with chums and DD has gone to meet her friends.

I started a crochet project last night that I purchased at Ally Pally. It's a slipover for me. Going okay so far.

In other news I'd like to give a shout out to @nmm aka genius woman who suggested I get 9" hoops for the PL series. I've now managed to frame all 6 (photo to follow from my phone) and they look fab. I think I'd got it into my head that the Satsuma Street designer used 10" frames but they look much nicer with less space around the design. Thank you @nmm <3

I have a list of jobs for today including ironing (boo) and finding my Christmas cross stitch design (yay).

    Have a good day all,
    Coxy xx
