Yup bought a few and using as media center now. It appears kids dont really want old xbox for some reason as I thought I would be giving away as gift sets

I just took up this offer in the GAME in Bognor Regis Highstreet. The sold it to me with a controller and good condition Xbox. I get home plug it all in, hopeing to play Halo : Combat Evolved and BAM! Flashing green and red rings my Xbox froze. :mad:

Going back to GAME to get a refund. I hope you guys don't get the same problem.

So the original Xbox are still wanted items are they? My son is looking to put his on Ebay with his games as he wants to get an Xbox 360. He also wants to sell his Wii which is so annoying. We bought it as a gift for him but he doesn't play with it.

The old Xbox is still pretty popular for it's media centre abilities, yes.

He'll get almost retail price for the Wii anyway

Hi, this seemed like such a great idea when I first saw the thread but I am so stuck :sad:

I'm totally confused about how I get the files from the USB pen to the xbox? I saw a tutoriol on making an xbox controller into a USB device which seemed simple enough, but I just cant figure out were the usb stick fits in to the equasion?

would it be better if I just bought a copy of action replay from somewhere?

sorry for being so untechie! It would be so great to set this up for the kids but i just dont seem to be able to get my head around it.

Thanks for the info, so I need a memory card to go into the gamepad aswell? I was hoping I would be able to manage with just the usb pen

I have got a new xbox. I never got round to opening as we got a 360. I was going to put it on eBay but reading this post got me thinking whether I should mod it first. Would it be worth modding it or leaving it for a buyer to do if they wanted to?
