Shop Charity in '23!

My apologies to Martins House and all MSEers... it could have been the old Herriot Hospice place I saw. Who knows? It feels like 'don't ask Cherry, she only lives there'!
You realise there will be several games going on: 'spot the missing charity shop', 'spot the remaining charity shops' and now 'spot the charity-shopping MSEers'.
You get extra points if you can get from one end of the High Street to the other without entering a Costa, plus a bonus if you get both the Cancer Research shops and ten points if you can find Frade.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Noooooooo!!!!I specifically went to town to try and discover what was occuring!
So Martins House Hospice is next to The Works, stocked but not open Sundays.
Herriot Hospice shop which is further down and near Lakeland and Cafe 127 - closed? But has been for a while I think.... they've even taken down their boardings on it.
I have visions of various MSE'rs muttering to themselves, pacing Northallerton High Street trying to figure out what we've seen, when we've seen it HAHAHA

The shut shop is the now nameless, (think it might have been the Herriot shop), one next to The Works. Martin House is open, fully stocked and operating, not next door to The Works - a few doors away further into the town. Lawdy lawdy wot are we like! I shall have to go back and take a photo!!😩
Dazed and confused of North Yorkshire.
@Cherryfudge. Did you visit the 20p shop and the 99p shop in Otley?4 -
I missed the 99p shop entirely.Miró said:

I saw the 20p shop but it was quite late on Sunday afternoon and it looked shut. Whatever do they sell for 20p?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

20p shop is very random and tends to close early. I only go in if I'm there and not rushing for a bus. Lots of DVDs, CDs, cards and books.Cherryfudge said:

Tend to head for the kitchen and sundries section, miss on stuff that is heavy or might break.
Finds. Decent cream hand towel, 2 small pirex dishes, tealight holder to match existing, can opener, neat bottle cap gripper.
Gave a large handled Thermos a miss last week. Had obviously been used for milky tea and not fully cleaned. Smelt OK, a few denture tablets might sort it but I already have a decent one.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing5 -
The 99p shop is properly known as the St Gemma's Hospice Shop and is in the precinct by the bus station. Everything in the shop is 99p apart from one rail of 'designer' clothing/shoes/bags. Clothing/shoes/bags/jewellery/linens/mens downstairs, upstairs is books/pictures/bricabrac & odds and ends.Cherryfudge said:

@RAS Some of my finds from the 20p shop...framed Japanese panting on silk, several scarves, a b/n M & S cushion, b/n large Pyrex mixing bowl, large crystal candle holder, silk Monsoon dress, various offcuts of fabric.
Coming home today through Ripon I picked up a pair of Sonder Studio, (who they?), jeans for £5. Look new and they are made from that old fashioned heavy denim without stretch so will be well sucked in...bit like wearing a corset!!!

Oh I rather fancy a day trip to Otley, if only for the delights of the 99p and 20p shops!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
