I like the look of all of it. Including the old light switch (is it?)

Just got back from a week in the Lake District. Spent a few hours in Penrith whilst there....such a lovely town full of independent shops and oldy worldiness ans soooooo many charity shops. Could not believe how many there were! Got a b/n pair of Clark's shoes for £4 ....... thought they were brown in the shop but realised in daylight they were burgundy and exactly the same shade as the leather backpack I was carrying which was a previous chazza bargain. So pleased!

See the Bedale booty is cancelled yet again today due to soggy ground... such a shame for the charities/organisations that would have benefitted. 🙁7 -
Finally managed a trip around some of the local charity shops today and went slightly shopping crazy:
Bnwt pair of M&S trousers in the RSPCA shop for £4
Rubber ducks gift set £2.50
Per Una summer dress - looks like it hasn't been worn £5
Laura Ashley linen blouse £5.99
Gorgeous pink Damart blouse £4.99
M&S Ramones t-shirt £3.49
Beautiful Lucia raspberry blouse £6
Cream smart blouse (St Michael!) £4.50
Total of £36.50 spent, but I had a look in M&S and just one blouse was £39.50. I've definitely got the better deal

Nice shoes! And yes, I think it's been a month now. I've been told Ripon had a car boot this morning but it's a bit far for us so we didn't try it. Thirsk (Woodfield) is dependent on the weather too but may open next Saturday (according to their Facebook page).Miró said:See the Bedale booty is cancelled yet again today due to soggy ground... such a shame for the charities/organisations that would have benefitted. 🙁
Wanted - a weather-proof car boot, please!

Youngest went for a walk whilst we visited gran - he found one charity shop in Oxford & happily returned with More Books. I’m trying for 1-in-1-out (unless digital!) but trying to restrain him would be complete hypocrisy!8

Thanks @Cherryfudge it was good fun but I'm out of practice and missed out a few shops (luckily for my wallet). I bought two pairs of lovely summer trousers last Spring (Scope, brand new M&S) but they are waiting for warmer weather before making a re-appearance. I could probably do with a summer jacket or fleece, summer tops and possibly another pair of shoes or two - so will have to have another wander soon."Think of many things, do one"
