Local first trip today. Struck gold. Ten skeins of Icelandic wool. One is the thick lopi and the other nine are much finer. Had a google when i got home an let's say I paid less than a 10th of what it sells for new. Currently airing outside (it's -10) so anything like moths will also freeze. I picked up a souvenir dish and the total after Seniors Discount (the white temples and visible roots must have given me away) was $13.

@Cherryfudge, we had our usual three weeks in Southern Spain, a couple of days in Gibraltar and a weekend in Belgium.
Gibraltar had the strangest charity shop, it was about 3ft wide and 10 ft long! Everything was just in piles and just a mess, so gave it miss. Like a jumble sale had exploded in a very small space.
Southern Spain has a few animal rescue charity shops and the local Cancer/Hospice society has nice shops. Usually pick up fresh reading material there and drop off our reading material and a few its and pieces before we go home. Let's face it, there's always something that you take on holiday and don't wear or decide why did I ever buy this?5 -

I used to harbour a desire to wear lots of silver and turquoise jewellery and a denim shirt whilst singing Desperado by the Eagles🤣🤣I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
