How's this for a chazzer success? Looks unused and cost all of 10p. I can't wait to get stuck in!

Not charity shop but second-hand from Facebook marketplace - I FINALLY got my hands on a KitchenAid stand mixer (with attachments, cover and stainless steel bowl) for £150 which I think is an absolute BARGAIN considering that even the best sale prices are £350+ and normal price is around £500.

The knock-off Oodie I bought last week is very nice and warm.
I saw a red faux leather biker style jacket for £7.50 at St Vincent's again and I dithered, but then bought it. My husband had come into the shop and I said I thought £7.50 was a bit steep and he said if I bought it new it would be a lot more, which is true I suppose. I did think one of the women working in that shop seemed quite rude as well so I might ignore that shop for a while!7 -

I guess I'm lucky with most of the staff I run into in the charity shops.
Worst was one who exclaimed when I was staggering with a big box of junk treasures "WHAT!? You again!??!!"
And then added "What lovely things do you have for us this time!??!?!?"I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I took 2 bags into the Cancer Research shop today and as I left the staff were refusing any more donations, telling someone that they are full. I only bought a couple of paperbacks, usually there are 2 or 3 things that catch my eye but the shop has been rejigged at the behest of Head Office & they've lost half of their rail space. Its a shame as it was a proper treasure trove, with unusual bits & bobs of bric-a-brac too.
The nearby (overpriced) children's hospice shop actually had Christmas carols playing, so I did a quick lap & left.
I did score 2 cashmere jumpers in Oxfam though - a Jaeger deep purple v-neck and a Tesco Finest mens slouchy grey stripe one, both £5.99. I also found an All Saints jumper dress (which will look better when I've lost a bit of weight!) for £6.99.
I won't be getting so many midweek bargains soon as I'm back to work next week, so my chazzer trawling will be confined to weekends!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Why are children’s hospice shops so expensive? The one beside me is so expensive that the locals don’t even use it!I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I popped into the original Oxfam shop today but sadly there were no interesting books or kitchen bits to be found although the shelves were groaning with Advent calendars, Christmas cards, wrapping paper etc."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

I had a lovely time at the chaz this afternoon, buying things I wanted but don't actually need! Inc a waterproof jacket, a warm Roman a top for my mum, 4 books another scarf - too cute to resist - and for the grand sum of £8. The jacket is long and practical, but what swung it for me was the Clements Ribeiro label.
Then a giant pink basket weave vase for £4. Happy days!No man is worth crawling on this earth.
