No not expensive - you’ve just saved hundreds of pounds!! 😁
Now got another dilemma *sigh*
The bag is missing its cross body strap, (this was pointed out on the price tag). I do like to be 'hands-free' when I'm out and about, both for convenience and safety so I was thinking of mebbe getting one of those....think they are called 'guitar straps' to attach to the bag. Made of some sort of fancy patterned webbing, priced about £6-7? Not sure if it would suit this style of bag tho??? Now, I've just come across a similar bag, (style and colour) on FleaBay - the bag is very, very battered, scratched and worn but the strap looks to be OK. Tis priced at £15 but with P & P would be about £20. `Just cannot reconcile spending more than the price of the flipping bag on a strap tho???? Ooooh wot to do, wot to do!!3 -
Mmm dilemma…
If it were me I’d have a careful trawl round the chazzers, see if something could be substituted. Perhaps a contrasting bit of something…? If not I’d buy the tatty bag for the strap then sell the bag. Think of the total cost - it’ll still be cheaper than buying it from a proper shop.£Your bag + £tatty bag - selling strapless tatty bag =£acceptable…?Edit Would the shop have the strap for it knocking around in the back by any chance (v long shot but you never know).I'm unsure about my spine, I think it's holding me back.5 -

My husband went to Tesco today and he was going to go past that charity shop so I said go in and see if they still have the cups we bought and the member of staff remembered him straight away and he took them. I think I will keep them actually as I do like the pattern. They are the Royal Doulton Vogue collection. My husband said they were perfectly polite to him in there today, to be fair.
