Can highly recommend Hurtigruten, the passenger areas are quite luxurious, the food is great and unlike the big cruise ships the boats travel up the fjords to all the stunning little villages, (where they deliver the post and anything else the villagers need.

Great dress, @Coxy11! It actually took me back to being a teenager and having a  print dress in a very similar colour. So flattering! I wonder what became of mine? Hopefully it lives on as vintage and elegant.  

@Potternerd, sorry you're not so mobile at present. Do your exercises and you'll soon be back in the shops! And yes, I hope your treasures are even now waiting in the back room of each shop waiting for the shelf space that will come free just as you get back to buying. Perhaps you need to invest in a shopping trolley so you can carry them all home while not stressing your knee? You get more in that way, too.

Single travellers get stung for not having a significant other they want to take holidays with!
