@Rosa_Damascena - I don't usually take my dog into chazzers as I worry about her peeing. Lol.
I am in Canning Town tomorrow, do you happen to know any decent charity shops in that area?4 -

@Rosa_Damascena - I had this recipe in mind when I bought the cream horn moulds because I didn't much fancy the idea of wrapping cones in foil and I'm more confident with bread dough than pastry.
The Oxfam superstore you referred to reminded me of the Barnardo Superstore close to Coventry station - all fur coat and no knickers!!No man is worth crawling on this earth.

@Brie and other scarf lovers may be interested in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LYAEz777AU&ab_channel=Wendy%27sLookbook . I'm probably quite boring using the drape and the wrap in the summer months, and European loop in the winter when it gets cold.

I'm in the Ibis hotel in Canning Town for the Muse concert tonight. I did a quick look at the high street and only found the Age UK shop. Bought 3 pairs of new socks for £1! Not very exciting.2025 GOALS

@Rosa_Damascena - you're absolutely right about the Oxfam superstore, perfect description. Regarding the cream horn moulds I'd be catering for a party or a Wednesday walking group so 12 probably would be about right. Thankyou for the scarf link, really well done videos I thought, although I've now realised that my personal style can only be called carelessly scruffy!
I had to take the hat I bought yesterday back to the town centre Oxfam branch for a refund this afternoon because although it felt fine when I tried it on, after wearing it for five minutes indoors, I realised it was just slightly too small around the crown and wouldn't stretch. Wonderfully when I got there, while I was waiting for the volunteer to return to the cash desk, I spotted a Nordic ware pie topper template on the shelf for only £3.99 and a lovely shaped bottle also £3.99. I've been lusting after these pie top cutters on fleabay and elsewhere for ages and kept telling myself I'd find them one day so Hoorah and Calloo Callay!
I also called in to my favourite BHF shop and snapped up a Diana Henry cookbook, £2.50, a lovely cycling jacket, £9.99, a paperback novel, £2.50, and a hardback collection, £2.
