Interesting about the shoes. I must admit I generally don't buy daily wear shoes from the chazza, but would definitely buy occasion wear shoes, if I needed any. Mostly for me it's because I cba to search for the size and style and not-trashed status of trainers, which are my most common wear.
I've bought Bras several times, and swimwear. I don't think I've ever seen knickers!Married 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

Recent online chazza find hasn't arrived yet, so no photo, sorry. It's a Helly Hansen Lifa thermal long sleeve top, which will keep husband toasty. I used to buy them from a military surplus shop before they got fashionable and shot up in price. I was very pleased to get a black one with white arm stripes for 6.99

I started shopping in CS when I was young and poor. Now it is a way of life. I don’t buy anything new except socks and undies, but I’m always happy to buy BNWT socks, tights and swimwear. I don’t have a problem with shoes from CS. I like the idea that you never know what you’re going to find and also that if I make an error and realise after a couple of wears that something isn’t really me it can go back and hasn’t cost a fortune. I tend to live in jeans and T-shirts and trainers in summer, boots in winter. However I love dresses, jackets and bags and CS allows me to experiment with those without huge outlay.
Most of my crockery and glassware is from CS as well and it’s nice to have pretty things at pocket money prices. Nearly all our furniture is second hand too, either from CS or auctions. DH says it’s much better quality.
I operate one in one out and find if I have a really good haul it prods me into having a good clear out.
Books are library, CS or Barter Books in Alnwick which I would recommend to anyone visiting Northumberland. There is also a book exchange where I live, though most of the books aren’t me.Laid up after knee surgery at the moment so I’m soooo missing the CS but enjoying seeing everyone’s finds. I’m also spending a lot of time on Vinted and have just taken delivery of a fuschia velvet Joules trapper hat. Hope there will be lots of treasures waiting for me.8 -
Take it easy @Potternerd x
I popped to Wa!trose at lunchtime to collect DD's birthday gift and went into Barnardos. Got 6 books for £2 - 4 x Elly Griffiths, 1 x Jodi Piccoult and The Holiday by TM Logan - all in excellent, read-once condition.
I also took a punt on an Oliver Bonas dress for £6. I'm going on a cheeky weekend away with DH, BFF and her DH in a couple of weeks, so this will come with me and then I will sell on for my charity. It's this one - and it has POCKETS!!
