Also came home with a lovely glass trifle bowl. For £5. Very heavy and very sparkly.
Too many nice things are being bought for me to comment on everything, but I do look. Here's a poignant one for you from a charity shop in Thirsk: I saw a 'Grandparents' book which had been filled in with lots of bits of family history, probably not all that long ago. Why would someone not keep that? Perhaps there was a falling out? I didn't buy it: I hope it can find its way to a family member.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Happy Birthday @Rosa_Damascena, enjoy drinking out of your mugs. I'll be 60 next year and you've just inspired me to start a collection for the big day.
@beanielou - I have seen the odd ironing board over the years and quite often see sleeve boards and table top versions. Maybe it's a student accommodation purchase that isn't needed when they move on.
I popped into my favourite BHF shop yesterday and came away with a Penguin collection of PG Wodehouse school stories for £2. I forgot to take a photo earlier so here's a link to the big river listing.

Picked up a posh leather glasses case by Longchamp yesterday from the hospice shop in Ripon for £2.99. Matches my Chazza Longchamp bag perfectly. My new Specsavers specs will look dead smart now 😬11
