    Day 2/100 (which was yesterday)

    eBay listings - 10 (20 so far)
    Vinted listings - 5 (10 so far)

Only just got them done after work last night. Nothing paid off the card yesterday. Hoping for a good weekend of sales so I can pay a nice chunk off on Monday.

OH had either food poisoning or a stomach bug during the night, so I’ve been awake since 1.30am. Still managed to do 7 eBay listings so far today though 😁

I’m still here!! I think it’s day 10 or something, but I’ve lost count!! Been so busy.

We bought a couple of abandoned storage lockers and I’ve been working hard to try and firstly get our money back and then try to get in profit. So a lot of sorting, cleaning & listing. They weren’t as good as I was hoping, but I’m hoping I can make some money on them. They cost £161 between them and I’ve made back £45.05 so far.

Anyway, I’ve lost count with my listings, but I have been listing each day, so that’s the main thing. I still think I can clear my card in the 90 days I’ve got left. The balance is currently £4,300, so I need to pay just under £50 a day to clear it in that time (and pay any interest on top of that).

    Morning

Another £50 off the Aqua CC today, bringing it down to £4,250.

Had a nice £50 sale and a smaller eBay sale from my storage locker lot yesterday, so I’m just £53.46 away from breaking even.

Got a lot of parcels to pack today, then going to a jumble sale before heading into work.

Have a good Saturday everyone 😊

Hi everyone. I know, I know - I’ve been AWOL again for ages. We were doing well with clearing debts, but life happened and we’re back at square one again. No excuses - we just completely went off the rails. We’ve really got to get a grip though. I need to hold myself accountable.

It’s going to be really tricky. My OH wants to clear debts, but has very little drive or will power. I’ve told him we’re in a vicious circle and the only way out is sacrifice and hard work.

We’re currently away in Tenerife for 4 nights (mainly paid for by a local CF charity as it was my 42nd birthday yesterday). I wanted to take the time away to really focus on some goals for May:

    1. No Pepsi/Coke - Diet or otherwise
    2. Walk for at least 20 minutes a day
    3. Eat a proper breakfast every day
    4. Pay something off a debt every day
    5. List 10 items on eBay a day
    6. List 5 on Vinted a day
    7. No takeaways/meals out
    8. Spend an hour a day keeping the house clean/tidy
    9. Keep on top of unlisted stock and organise stock/room garage by end of May
    10. Start decluttering by donating/chucking/selling 50 personal items in May

I’ll make sure I come on here every morning to say how I got on the previous day. I need to shed pounds - both from my debts and my waistline!!

I’ve been here many times before, but this time it has to stick. I don’t want to still be paying debts off on my 43rd or (more realistically) 44th birthday.

We’re back from Tenerife on 30th April, so will hit the ground running in May.

    Morning - Happy 1st May!!

Yesterday didn’t go to plan. Our flight to Gatwick was cancelled and we ended up going to Heathrow, meaning we had to spend £104 on a taxi to Gatwick as our car was there. We finally got home at 10.20pm. I shall be claiming compensation for the cancellation and cost of the taxi.

Anyway, busy day today. Probably not the best day to start my no Pepsi rule, but never mind. It needs doing. I’m going shopping with my sister this morning for my niece’s 16th birthday present. I’ve got 20 parcels to pack and I’m in work 3-7pm.

I’ve listed 5 items on eBay already this morning, and will get the rest done later. If I can get my 10 items listed, 5 on Vinted too and all my parcels packed, it’ll be a great achievement!!

I also weighed myself at the start of my No Pepsi Month - I’m 11 stone 7 pounds, so let’s see how much I lose not having Pepsi and takeaways!!

I’ll update my progress tomorrow morning.

    Morning.

Yesterday went okay, but didn’t get everything done. I listed my 10 items on eBay and 5 on Vinted, but I’ve still got 11 parcels to pack (2 that sold yesterday).

I didn’t have a Pepsi yesterday, and I’m suffering with a nasty headache today. Hopefully the withdrawal symptoms won’t last too long, I’ve read 2-9 days 😵‍💫.

Today’s plan - get all parcels packed, do my listings. No work today, so will try to take it easy in between to help my headache.
