Finally Debt Free in 2023

It was a busy day yesterday, but I got my listings, packing and posting done. I've got another 5 parcels to do up today so far and I've made a head start on my listings by photographing 6 items last night, so I'll get those listed whilst doing my nebulisers.

I've still got to calculate some things I sold yesterday, but I think I'm close to £200 profit over the 1st and 2nd January, which is amazing and it's half of what I get working my part-time job in a month. Not every day will be like this, but it'll be interesting to see how much I do make over the month.

I may make a debt repayment today, but I'll see how it goes. We've got to get through until Friday, and i don't like paying out too much and then regretting it because an unexpected expense comes up (building an emergency fund is going to be on my to-do list once we've paid off some debt).

We were good with food yesterday and ate what we had in the house. I'm going to cook the free turkey I got today, so that will do us for lunch and dinner. I've then got Hello Fresh coming tomorrow to cover Wednesday-Saturday.

Morning all - another early wake up for me. I find I get so much more done if I wake up early (not that I set an alarm - My body clock seems to be set for this sort of time). 

Profit calculated for 1-2 January and it was £218.05. Really pleased with that. I had 7 sales yesterday, but haven’t packed them up yet, so will work out profit when I do. 

I’ll wait to Friday to start paying daily payments to debts, just so we don’t leave ourselves short. 

I got all my listings done. I’ve also already got 5 items photographed for today, so will get those listed whilst doing my nebulisers again. Back at work tomorrow, so that’s 3-4 hours out of my day. Not looking forward to it 😩

No takeaways or meals out still. We had the Turkey yesterday, sandwiches in the evening and we still have a lot left. Hello Fresh is coming today, so hopefully it’ll be here by lunch - if not it’s Turkey sandwiches for lunch too.

Morning

Not such a great day yesterday. I got all my listings done and parcels (made £113.42 profit on Tuesday), but only had 2 eBay sales (and one hasn’t been paid yet) and 3 Vinted sales. Will be lucky if I made £10 profit. Swings and roundabouts. Will keep listing my 10 a day and 5 on Vinted and hope for a better day. 

OH has an early medical appointment and I’m at work this evening, so I’m going to have to use my time wisely today. I will get my listings done, even if I have to stay up till midnight.

Sales were a lot better yesterday. I got time to do all my listings yesterday, but didn’t get to do my packaging, so can’t work out profits for Wednesday & Thursday yet. Will get that done today. 

At work again today. Two more shifts and I’m off for 11 days. Can’t wait. Want to get loads done. 

We’ve also stuck to our no takeaways rule. Might not sound like a long time, but we were honestly getting 2-3 takeaways a week or meals out, quick McDonald’s etc, so it’s a bit of an achievement for us.

What a weekend. Spent 6 hours in A&E last night with OH who thought he was having a heart attack. He wasn’t, but they did lots of tests on him. He’s just got to take it easy. 

Anyway, sales have been good. I managed to list 5 on eBay yesterday and 5 today. Need to package up items on Monday (won’t have time tomorrow) and then I can work out how much I made in a week (spoiler - it’s more than I make in my retail job in a month!!)

Normal eBay and Vinted listing will resume tomorrow. And no more work for 11 days!! I want to get loads done.
