    The Ombudsman MAY award more - it has to be said that £40 for the amount of hassle you've had is a remarkably small goodwill payment.  Also they are being cheeky saying that the £60 is goodwill too - that's not my understanding!

    I wasn’t sure if £40 was reasonable, generous or not enough

    I spoke to the Ombudsman case officer and she seems very sympathetic.

    I will leave it as I believe she might decide I should take the £100 or award me more but I guess she won’t decide it should be any less as now EDF recognises their errors and are not disputing it.
