EDF harassed me for months - letters, emails and phone calls - and when I finally booked my smart meter instalation, the person didn’t turn up and didn’t get in touch to cancel.
So tomorrow I will have to do the rounds on the shops that work with PayPoint and beg them again to accept my governement given electricity voucher to top up my old style meter -

Thank you! I did not know this was even possible and will do for sure - have you done it before? what is the procedure?[Deleted User] said:

This happened to us with Eon in August. They just credited our electric account with the £30 during the following week, we didn't need to ask for it. I hope EDF does the same for you.

As edwink said, it should be automatic. Even better, if they don't pay it in time (although I can't remember the schedule) there's another £30 for forgetting the first one.coconutcurls said:

I got £30 credit on my account with Shell 8 days after new meter was an hour late to replace a leaking gas meter1

If they don't give the missed appointment credit within 10 working days then another £30 becomes due. But CS agents don't seem to know that (or want to acknowledge that)[Deleted User] said:

I would have thought a leaking gas meter wouldnt have been done by your supplier?luvchocolate said:I got £30 credit on my account with Shell 8 days after new meter was an hour late to replace a leaking gas meter
In my experience that is done by the DNO?1 -
